Maani Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and onEins LLC, 3833 Powerline Rd, Suite 101-K, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309, United States ("onEins," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Maani iOS application, Maani Pro subscriptions, live card preview pages, and related services (together, the "Service").

By downloading, accessing, or using Maani, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Maani Does
Maani is a personal manifestation and ritual app. It lets you create local manifestation cards, add text and images, review cards during rituals with background music, receive daily AI-assisted affirmations for cards, mark fulfilled cards, and share card text, images, or temporary live preview links.
Maani is designed as a local-first app. Most user-created content is stored on your device by default. Some features require network services, including subscription verification, daily affirmation generation, push notifications, attribution measurement, optional iCloud backup, and temporary live card previews.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Maani. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Maani only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
You may not use Maani if you are legally barred from receiving or using the Service under applicable law, including U.S. export control or sanctions laws.
3. Apple App Store Terms
Maani is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of Maani is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the App Store rules, and any other Apple terms that apply to your Apple Account, device, purchases, subscriptions, iCloud, notifications, and other Apple services.
These Terms are between you and onEins, not Apple. onEins, not Apple, is responsible for Maani and its content, maintenance, support, warranties, and claims relating to Maani, except as otherwise required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Maani.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Maani on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's usage rules. If Family Sharing, volume purchasing, or similar Apple functionality applies, use through those Apple features is also subject to Apple's rules.
If Maani fails to conform to any applicable warranty that cannot legally be disclaimed, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, for Maani. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Maani. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the Apple-related provisions against you.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Maani, including Apple, iCloud, App Store, wireless carrier, payment, notification, attribution, and sharing-service terms.
4. Free Access and Maani Pro
Maani is free to download. You may complete onboarding and create your first card without purchasing Maani Pro.
Maani Pro is required for Pro features, including creating additional cards beyond the free experience and using the ritual card stack functionality. Available subscription periods may include weekly, monthly, and yearly plans. Current prices, trial terms if any, and available plans are shown in the app and in the App Store purchase sheet before you buy.
5. Subscriptions, Renewal, Cancellation, and Refunds
Maani Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system and are billed to your Apple Account.
Unless canceled, a subscription automatically renews at the end of each subscription period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Maani does not cancel your subscription.
Apple may charge your Apple Account for renewal before the end of the current subscription period according to Apple's App Store rules. If subscription prices change, Apple will provide any notices or consent flows required by Apple's rules and applicable law.
Refund requests and billing issues for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not onEins, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We cannot cancel, refund, or modify Apple-billed subscriptions directly.
If a subscription expires, is canceled, refunded, revoked, fails verification, or otherwise becomes inactive, Maani may limit access to Pro features. Your local content may remain on your device unless you delete it, but some Pro-only functionality may stop working.
6. Your Content
"User Content" means content you create, enter, select, upload, store, generate, or share through Maani, including card titles, captions, images, profile details, fulfilled-card status, rituals, and shared card previews.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant onEins a limited license to process, transmit, store, display, reproduce, and create technical or generated outputs from your User Content only as needed to provide, secure, operate, improve, and support the Service. This includes sending card details and selected profile context to an AI provider to generate a daily affirmation, storing temporary shared card previews when you create a live preview link, and storing data in your private iCloud database when you use the in-app iCloud backup feature.
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to use and share it. Do not create, upload, or share content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, non-consensual, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful.
7. Shared Cards and Public Links
Maani lets you share card text, images, and temporary live preview links. When you create a live preview link, Maani uploads the card title, caption, and generated front/back card images to our backend so the recipient can view the card in a browser.
Shared live preview links are intended to be available for a limited period, currently 7 days. Anyone with the link may be able to view the shared card during that period. Recipients may copy, save, screenshot, forward, or otherwise retain content you share. Do not share confidential, private, sensitive, or third-party content unless you are comfortable with that risk and have the right to share it.
We may remove or disable shared card links if we believe they violate these Terms, create legal risk, are reported to us, or could harm the Service or other users.
8. Daily Affirmations and AI-Assisted Output
Maani may generate a daily affirmation for a card using an AI provider. The generated text is based on limited card context, such as the card title, caption, optional card image, recent affirmation history for that card, and selected profile context such as your name, age, gender, sexuality, self-description, dream-life description, vision tags, pain tags, and commitment level when available. AI-assisted output may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, inappropriate, or not suitable for your circumstances.
Affirmations and other generated outputs are provided for personal reflection and entertainment. They are not professional advice, therapy, medical advice, mental health advice, financial advice, legal advice, spiritual guarantees, or predictions of future events. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any generated output.
Maani does not guarantee manifestation results, life outcomes, emotional benefits, health benefits, financial outcomes, relationship outcomes, or any other real-world result.
9. Wellness and Safety Disclaimer
Maani is not a medical device, mental health service, therapy provider, crisis service, financial planning service, or professional advisory service. The Service is not a substitute for qualified professional help.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, thoughts of self-harm, or immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis hotline immediately.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Maani for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
- Upload, create, or share content that violates another person's rights, including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or confidentiality rights.
- Attempt to bypass subscription checks, paywalls, usage limits, App Attest protections, rate limits, or other technical controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, scrape, overload, probe, attack, or interfere with Maani or its backend systems, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Use automated systems to access the Service without our written permission.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Use Maani to generate or distribute spam, malware, harassment, scams, or deceptive content.
- Use shared links or generated content in a way that violates law or these Terms.
11. Local Data, Backups, and Device Features
Maani stores most card and profile content locally on your device. Your device, iOS, iCloud, Apple Account, and backup settings may affect how that data is stored, backed up, restored, or deleted.
If you enable or use Maani's in-app iCloud backup feature, selected app data may be stored in your private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit service. Apple, not onEins, operates iCloud and CloudKit. iCloud availability, security, storage limits, and deletion are governed by Apple's terms and settings.
Maani may request access to Apple features such as notifications, App Tracking Transparency, Photos picker, Screen Time/Family Controls, motion data, iCloud, and in-app purchases. You can control many permissions in iOS Settings, but some features may not work without the relevant permission.
12. Intellectual Property
Maani, including its software, design, interface, trademarks, logos, music, visual assets, text, and other materials, is owned by onEins or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license granted to you in these Terms, we reserve all rights in Maani and the Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Maani except as expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
13. Third-Party Services
Maani uses third-party services to provide parts of the Service, including Apple, Cloudflare, OpenAI, OneSignal, AppsFlyer, and Superwall. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability limits, and technical requirements. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Links, share sheets, App Store pages, subscription settings, iCloud settings, and other third-party destinations are provided for convenience. Your use of those services is governed by the applicable third-party terms.
14. Support, Changes, and Availability
We may update, improve, suspend, discontinue, or change Maani or any feature at any time, including free features, Pro features, AI generation, sharing, backup, notification, attribution, and backend features.
We try to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some features depend on internet access, Apple services, third-party providers, device compatibility, active subscriptions, backend availability, and permissions.
15. Termination
You may stop using Maani at any time and may delete the app from your device. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple-billed subscription.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to backend or shared-link features if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, attempted to abuse the Service, or if required by law or platform rules.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute provisions, and payment obligations.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information. By using Maani, you acknowledge that we process information as described in the Privacy Policy.
17. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maani and the Service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.
We do not warrant that Maani will meet your expectations, that generated affirmations will be accurate or helpful, that content will be preserved, that shared links will remain available for any particular time beyond our stated intent, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these disclaimers may not apply to you.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, onEins and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, subscription interruption, device issues, or inability to use the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to onEins for Maani Pro through the App Store during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.
19. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless onEins and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your User Content, your use or misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
20. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring claims in another forum.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection, privacy, or other laws in your place of residence.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the app, App Store listing, website, or other reasonable means. The updated Terms will be effective when posted or when otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
